The StaTalk event will be held at the University’s main campus, Room 1A Building H3 of the University of Trieste (see the map below). The address is via Valerio 12/2, 34127 Trieste.

The campus is a 30-minute walk away from Trieste railway station in Piazza della Libertà, or it can be reached by bus in about 10 minutes. The airport ‘Ronchi dei Legionari’ is about 35 km from the city. From the airport Trieste can be reached by train or bus.

Trenitalia has frequent connections from Venezia Mestre, for a journey of about two hours. There are direct trains from Milano, Roma and Torino. See Trenitalia’s website for time schedule and prices.

Private bus companies (Italy  Eurolines Italia, Sita, La Valle, FlixBus) serves Trieste from many cities in Italy. The bus station is located next to the railway station.

A4 Turin-Trieste, exit "PROSECCO - Trieste Centro", then continue to Villa Opicina and then to Trieste Centro. Follow the directions for the University, Piazzale Europa, 1.

A4 Turin-Trieste, leave the motorway at the "Sistiana - Trieste Centro Strada Costiera Panoramica" exit; then continue along the main road to the city center.
